Soldering the handmade frame to the leaded panel

 

Listed Building,
Private Residence, Cheshire.

This listed building dates from the 16th century and is being
faithfully restored by the owners. The restoration has been
approved by English Heritage.

Duncan was supplied with new metal frames, handmade by a
skilled blacksmith, and using only hand blown restoration glass,
he re-created the leaded windows to the original diamond
leaded design. They will then be fitted into solid oak frames.
